When and how you’ll be charged
Wine is paid for and added to your case immediately. You can choose to dispatch that case immediately or whenever you exceed your delivery case size.
We’ll always send a confirmation email for any payment, and you can check your billing history under Account → Payments.
How to update your payment method
You can update your payment details at any time in your account.
In the app, go to Profile → Payments → Update Card. On web, go to Account → Billing → Update Payment Method.
We accept most debit and credit cards, and your next renewal or purchase will automatically use your new details. If a payment fails, we’ll notify you so you can update before losing access.
How to access invoices and receipts
All your invoices and receipts are stored in your account.
In the app, visit Orders → Receipts, or on desktop, head to Account → Payments → Transaction History. You can view, download, or print any invoice for your records.
Each invoice includes details of your membership charge, order total, and VAT where applicable.
Understanding your statement charge
If you see “Winedrops” or “Winedrops Ltd” on your card statement, that’s your membership or bundle purchase.
If you don’t recall the charge, double-check your account — it’s often linked to a trial or bundle that converted after 3 days.
If you believe the charge was made in error, contact help.winedrops.com and our team will review it right away.
Why we charge each time you purchase a wine
We work a bit different to other retailers. Normally, you add products to a basket, and then pay for them altogether. We take payment as soon as you add the bottle to your case. This is because our limited time offers sell out very quickly. To avoid disappointment, we take payment and reserve that bottle specifically for you, meaning you can relax and build your dream case over time.
