If the Winedrops app isn’t working as expected - freezing, crashing, or displaying errors, follow these steps to resolve most common issues:
Step 1: Update or Reinstall the App
Make sure you’re using the latest version of the app:
Tap the correct download button for your device and select ‘Update’
Check if you are using a VPN. VPNs can affect app performance and cause loading errors. Temporarily disable it if possible.
If the problem persists, delete and reinstall the app. Your Case, Cellar, and account data are saved and will reappear once you sign back in.
Step 2: Refresh or Restart the App
Swipe down on Drop screens to refresh wine availability before tapping ‘Buy’
Force close the app and reopen it - this can resolve freezing or loading issues
Step 3: Restart Your Device
A simple restart often resolves app crashes or glitches.
Step 4: Clear Cache / Refresh Data
Log out and back in to refresh your account data
This clears cached content and helps fix outdated or stuck information
Step 5: Check Your Connection
Ensure your device is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data
Weak or unstable connections can cause screens to load incorrectly or actions to fail
Step 6: Confirm Device Compatibility
Make sure your device meets the minimum OS requirements for the Winedrops app
Older devices or outdated operating systems may experience bugs
Step 7: Contact Support
If the issue persists, email help@winedrops.co.uk and include:
Your device model (e.g., iPhone 14, Samsung Galaxy S22)
A description of the issue or error messages
Any screenshots or videos showing the problem
Our team will investigate and help resolve the bug as quickly as possible.
